Lavish Wedding at Alila Uluwatu

Lavish Wedding at Alila Uluwatu

An all-white-and-soft pantone wedding will always be a classic, but it can be challenging to make your white wedding feel different than all of the others. As we’ve said in the past, we love to see weddings that are reflections of the couple and their style, and today’s real wedding couple has obviously succeeded.

Sweet details like lace-edged tablescape and frilly white and dry centrepiece flowers create a sense of calm and a lovely aesthetic. With pampass grass, roses, phalaenopsis, lavender and spirea blooms spilling out of pottery containers, the reception design is delicate, organic, and romantic. The garden atmosphere is heightened by pampass, vintage bottles, beautiful calligraphy and a mix of pottery containers, worn wooden tables, and plenty of natural texture.

Define our style

Photographing weddings isn’t just one of the most amazing experiences, its a privilege. More often than not you are the only person who gets to experience every aspect of the day and from all perspectives.  My intuition guides me to follow the light, the movement, the moment. Collectively bringing together the celebration, a quiet connection, a sense of place and time and a detailed approach.

My own personal style is one of minimalism, line, light and shade but you need to adapt to all stylised approaches as very often couples are wanting you to inject not only your own aesthetic but theirs also. Its a collaborative experience and one that I thoroughly enjoy.“

A coastal wedding in Karma Kandara

There are places synonyous with romance. From Eat,Pray, Love, these are the spaces to where our minds wander – the destinations that have inspired romanticism as genre. With sunset skies and irridescent waters, The Uluwatu have long allured travellers to their shores. Their coastal vinettes lend themselves as evocative referents, timeless reminders of where we’d rather be.

Held on seashores of Karma Kandara, Ines + Edouardo’s wedding was set before a dramatic backdrop of seas and clifftop. As guests moved from ceremony to reception, the landscape shifted from day to dusk.
